What areas do you provide services to?

Jones'N 4 services the entire Raleigh area including Durham, Chapel Hill, Morrisville, Cary, Apex, Holly Springs, Angier, Garner, Clayton, Wendell and Wake Forest.  Should you live outside the Raleigh area, a small travel fee will be charged for all services. 

Where are the catering meals prepared?

All in home catering items are prepared in your kitchen in accordance to all food safety guidelines.  Together, we will decide on a date that will work best for you.  I will come with all ingredients and cooking equipment to prepare your meals that day.  After the meals are done, I will leave your kitchen spotless as if no cooking was ever done!  Length of the cooking day will depend on the dishes and amount of meals you select.

All on site catering and prepackaged products are produced at our restaurant The Flipside located at 408 E. Second Street in downtown Clayton, NC.

Where are the meal prep and delivery meals prepared?

What kind of containers do you use to store the food?

All food will be stored in either microwave safe plastic containers or oven safe aluminum containers.  Alternative containers, such as reusable Pyrex, can be purchased at an additional cost.

 

What ingredients are used?

I cook for my clients as if I were cooking for my own family, using only ingredients purchased myself.  If you have specific concerns about ingredients, we can discuss these options at the initial client consultation.

 

What about allergies or dietary concerns?

I have experience cooking with a variety of allergies and dietary concerns in mind.  Any allergies or food restrictions will be well researched and heavily discussed at the initial client consultation.  Your peace of mind that the meal you're enjoying is delicious and meets your needs is my top priority.  Although I do not have a allergen free kitchen, every effort is always taken to prevent cross contamination.

 

How much notice is needed for your services?

For personal chef services, a two week notice is needed prior to a scheduled cooking day so ample time is available for consultation, research and menu planning.  For a catering event, a month is preferred.  For a cake or other sweet treat, 72 hours is the minimum needed though a week is preferred.  More time may be required if the cake has advanced decorative elements.

Meal prep and delivery schedule is as follows: order by 6pm Tuesday for delivery the following Friday or pick up at the Clayton Farmers Market on Saturday.  Order by 6pm Friday for delivery the following Tuesday.

When is payment collected?

Payment for services is due in full prior to the cooking day, event or celebration.  Typically, it is easiest to collect payment at the initial client consultation.  If you are a repeat client, payment for upcoming cooking dates can be made on a prior cooking date.
